Python - Where do I get the damn Lang.

I´m new to programming, I´m studying it at a college. I heard Python was a really cool language. Can anyone help me with were I can get the language. I´ve found tons of tutorial matter and been to python.com but can´t seem to find the actual thing. Anyone?

HOW CAN YOU SAY HARDCORE PROGRAMMING IS OUT... WHAT THE HELL....??? i hope u are not talking about C++ and other such languages... ( i hope u just talking about web developement) because if u are talking about programs in general... I cant see the sequel to games like RAVEN SHIED done in FLASH....??? <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_confused.gif">

 that is exactly my point coz even in web development flash still occupies a niche market - unlike PHP.
