MSi MOBO with NO AGP slot....PCI Express x16

Hi guy's

I spoke to a friend last night and he tell me that MSI has just brought a MOBO out that has some of the following Spec's

AMD 64bit
NO 8x AGP......But PCi Express x16
4x SATA
4x IDE's
ABOVE 800 FSB...Think he said 1000...speak under correction..
533DDR


NOW....MY ? is..

Is this bud of mine talking out his bottom or has any body else heard of such a thing.

My other ? is what is the deal with DDR3 on AGP cards :?: :?:

Anyone got some spec.

If you know....let me know!!!

If you think you know!!!!!! rather keep it to yourself...

The Board I spoke of is infact....MSI 925X Neo Platinum


It is for Prescott not AMD

AGP is on its way out. PCI Express will replace it soon enough.

yep, PCIE is the way to go now. I am just waiting for the AMD64 socket 939 boards to be released with PCIE then i am getting me one. The performance of the pcie gfx cards is astounding.
