Just installed pcmark'04 from this month's cover disc and was wondering what scores do you guys(and gals) get :?:

PCmark score:4459
CPU score :4401
Memory score :4549
Graphics score:1839
HDD score :4109

Mine doesn't work - it complains about needing an encoder for Media Player 9 and then goes through a bunch of tests but doesn't give me a score! :roll:

I've got the same problemos

Goku, are the results available only online?
I went to the webby but it says i gotta d/l a 120build patch.
Did u do all that?

For those off you getting the "Windows Media Encoder 9 or better required" , you can download it from:

It's about +/- 9.5 MB...

Here is mine:

PC Mark Score: 2839 PC Marks
CPU Score: 3440
Memory Score: 2225
Graphics: 523
HDD Score: 4433

Please someone tell me which score is bringing my whole score down hmmm.{sarcastic mode}. It will all change when I get the FX 5900. It seems the Pentium 4's own this test in terms of CPU score.

Anyone have any idea why mu Memory score seems a bit low. Its 512mb Transcend DDR 400 running @ 383MHz on a KT 600 chipset. I though the KT 600 wasnt so bad in terms of memory bandwidth... hmmm 8O

The first score I posted was with my old 9600 pro and 2 x 256mb ram in DChannel

This is my latest test with the 9600XT and I added a 512Mb ram stick also. Unfortunetly I am unable to runs duel channnel now.

Pc mark score 4561
Cpu score 4730
Memory score 3533
Graphics score 2727
HDD score 4146

Here is my new result with my FX 5900

PC Mark: 3513 PcMarks
CPU: 3450
MEMORY:2245
GRAPHICS: 4548
HD DRIVE: 4464

Hm it seems the Graphics score doesnt influence the overall score very much. A jump from 500 to 4500 only increases the score by +-700 PCMARK points. It seems this test focusses mainly on CPU and memory bandwidth... :?
