I need to upgrade my 2gig MTN Internet bundle soon,
but like any Internet user knows,
2gig is nothing.
So I need to go bigger, much bigger.
Who offers the cheapest biggest fastest Internet now?
I can't get ADSL, my hometown is not covered,
Can't do wi-fi, my hometown is not covered.
Telkom mobile doesn't cover my area.
Yes I stay in a small town.......

Re: Internet packages
Not bad,
like the +GB.
But seems it will end soon???
The Small Print
* General:
- All monthly Mobile Packages get additional FREE Anytime data on top of the normal monthly data allocation.
- These special packages are valid until 30 June 2014 at which point the offer will be revised or extended.

Re: Internet packages
Apparently if one joins Afrihost before the end of June, the +GB will remain until the end of December 2014. If one joins Afrihost after the end of June (and the don't extend the special) one won't get any +GB.

Re: Internet packages
If they take the +GB away,
they have nothing special left to get clients, then it's normal MTN packages

Re: Internet packages
Noooope. Don't agree there. Firstly, they've never really taken away the +GB- at least not on DSL- it's been there for a while now, I would think the same would hold true for the mobile packages- and htose dates have been revised at least once that I can remember.
They've actually replaced MTN packages. If you have an MTN sim, afaik, you would be using the Afrihost APN now instead of the old MTN one- though I might be wrong on this. Also Afrihost as a company offer vastly better client service- just my opinion based on our Afrihost accounts and my dads MTN account that he's had since forever.
