The good news first. Microsoft is finally changing from the MS Point structure to real currency format. Good news indeed.
The bad news... your MS Points is not getting converted to local currency. Instead, they are expiring within a year of the change over.

That said, time to blow all your MS points asap. I have 3500 points. A really crappy number meaning I won't be able to use them all.
MS Points ...expires?!

Re: MS Points ...expires?!
That is so wrong.
Re: MS Points ...expires?!
Not sure where you read that. MS Points will be valid until end of 2014, and will be converted to your local currency once the new system is implemented (apparently it'll happen in September). So any MS Points currently in your account will be converted to the account currency, and any MS Points loaded after that will also be automatically converted on redeeming the code.StarBound wrote:The bad news... your MS Points is not getting converted to local currency. Re: MS Points ...expires?!
My apologies. Points will be converted to local currency. The converted currency will expire after a year afterwards.
Either my reading skills are at fault (again) or MS is giving us a confusing mess of information (which would probably be the case).
