GPU advice

Post by Orkinator »

Hey guys
I'm busy building a gaming pc right now and need advice on what graphics card to go for, i'm gonna be combining it with an i7 3770k on a ASUS Rampage IV Formula board. I need something under R5000 preferably. Also what are your thoughts on NVidia or AMD gpus for this system.

So far these are the one's i've been looking at:
1)Leadtek nVidia GeForce GTX670
2)Sapphire HD7950 OC Flex Edition 3GB
3)MSI GTX660 Ti Power Edition OC

Thanks ey

Go for the GTX670.

I'm very happy with this one http://www.rebeltech.co.za/index.php?ma ... ts_id=6090

Its exactly R5k now.

Definitely go with the gtx670 but you might consider going for one with the custom fans. Sadly MSI does not have a twinfrozer or lightning varient and gigabytes is just over R5k for the windforce (and its loud after a year of use on my bros pc)

Thats what happens when a $400 card gets in the crossfire with an exchange rate that drops a full rand over a month.
