After almost 3 months back on Windows 7, Windows 8 feels like a long forgotten nightmare (kinda like Windows ME). Skulking the Tomshardware site I caught a glimpse of a topic of debate, the how to hack your Windows 8 back to the Windows 7 interface.
My reasons for retreating to the safety of Windows 7 has nothing to do with the look but rather the function. So has anyone tried the classic windows 7 look or has people jumped off Win 8 and back to Win 7?
Does classic windows look save windows 8?

Haven't bothered with Windows 8 either and don't plan to for the foreseeable future.

I'm still on Windows 8 and its functioning perfectly well for me. I installed a second license on another PC in the house and it's being used now as a print and media server as well as a regular desktop and its pretty slick. No hiccups so far with mine or the other machine so far. I do get occasional lags with the network but I think that's a driver issue with my USB Wi-Fi dongle.
