Electronic Waste
So. What's the 'right' (and legal!) thing to do with old electronics?
I have an old 56cm TV (works with VCR but no reception), 2 old VCRs (who cares if they work?), an HP printed that has somehow gravitated to me (might work) and an assortment of stuffed PSUs (not PC - from access stuff) and wiring.
And once I start spring cleaning more is sure to surface.
Wouldn't like to dump it at the local landfill, so - any advice?

A surprising amount of modern pseudoscience is coming out of the environmental sector. Perhaps it should not be so surprising given that environmentalism is political rather than scientific.

Re: Electronic Waste
Strip it all out and take all the copper and aluminium you can.
Go to a scrap yard and sell it off as scrap metal.

Re: Electronic Waste
Good idea except that the amount of metal I'd recover wouldn't pay for my time and I'd still be left with the waste.

Visit one of those horrendous websites, maybe they have a answer? I honestly did not read them and just pulled them from a Google search and they were the top 3 results...

Dump it in the river!
Otherwise, I believe Incredible Connection takes electronic waste, sometimes you even get discount on new items.
