Its a socket 1155 board. It should be better than the H67 board and better than the H61 by far. However saying it is simply a P8P67 board leaves to wonder if it is Gigabyte, MSI, ect. My guess though would be it is ASUS. Tell me if I am wrong?

The only thing lacking from the board is it might not support the new ivy bridge 22nm cpus. For that you might need a Z77 chipset.

Well most boards perform similarly. Usually a 2-5% difference when running the same cpu/ram at the same timings ect when using number benchmarks but games tend to lean to 1-2%.

So what CPU, ram and graphics card are you slapping into that thing?

I dont suppose there is any way to convince you to drop to 8GB ram with an i5 instead?

Ram is cheap but you wont find a difference between 16GB and 8GB unless your planning to use a RAMdrive for faster temporery copy and pasting. With an i5 you would see the difference much easier.
