Best GPU for Q8300?

Post by eXtreMe99 »

Hey Guys,

I've decided to replace my GTS250 and would like to know what card I should be looking for, to get the most out of my CPU.

Any ideas on what the best GPU would be for my Q8300? From what I've found on the net so far, a 560ti would be in order?

a 560ti isn't a bad move but your cpu is a tad on the old side. It will be a very worthy upgrade though just don't expect a miracle.

Yes, that CPU is old, but you should still get some good mileage if you could OC it to about 3GHz. That would place it in about the same league as a Phenom II of comparable speed.

The 560Ti is great for it's price.
