Yes, though RAM doesn't make that much of a difference. You'll get maybe 2 or 3 fps less with the cheapest 1333mhz RAM you can find afaik.

Are you gona have 1 stick of RAM in your PC? You normally put in 2, or 4, or 6 sticks of RAM. When its an odd number you used to run into problems back in the day. So perhaps go for a 2x 2GB Kit. they're normally sold in kits for this reason
[i7 2600K @ 4.6 ghz 1.35V] [Asus P8P67 Deluxe] [G-Skill RipjawsX 2x2GB DDR3 1600 CL6 (6-8-6-24) 1.5V]
[Sapphire Radeon 6870 @ 975/1200 1.2V] [Coolermaster V6 GT] [WD Caviar Black 640GB SATA3 6Gbps]
[Samsung SA350 23" LED] [NZXT Phantom White] [Corsair TX750W V2] [Zalman RS6F-USB 5.1 Surround Sound Headphones] My rig and benchmarks

I think one stick should be ok? The odd number problem is only that you lose dual channel, no? But with one stick there is no problem afaik.

Close:)

Go for the Corsair Vengeance Low Profile Arctic White modules. It comes standard at 1.35V giving it more headroom than normal RAM for overclocking.

Saw some at CyberGecko Computers while back. Was quite good price at the time if I remember right.

Did CyberGecko get banned for advertising or did he create a new profile?? You're suggesting the exact same RAM!

Oh, look, it's another Moderator Game thread! Oh, no, it's not. Let's keep the discussion to Corsair RAM and leave the moderating to the real moderators, shall we?
