Upload your avatars

Post by Cameron_Losco »

You can now upload your avatars, to do this go to your profile and browse to the bottom. No need to explain everything to you guys because I'm sure you all know whats potting.

To upload your avatar it must be under 6k and be within 120*160 pix limits. Please upload your avatar ASAP because I am going to stop off site avatar hosting. This is being done decrease loading times and to give me a little more control over the sizes and so forth. In about a week or so I'll disable off site hosting.

Thanks
Cameron

Thanks Cameorn. Seems to me like you got a bit of spare time there to spend on the site lately.

I have been really busy lately but am making a plan to spend more time on the site. Next off is a complete new look, working on that as I write this (well not exactly but you catch my drift).

I've uploaded my av...now what?

This is a good move toward faster loading time cameron. I've noticed when I dial in from home the loading times can be slow.

Just remember with that new look, could you please take the Mozilla and Firefox users into account? ie see that is compatible? :P

Thanks again Cameron.

Thanks again Cameron.
It will be compliant. This is one of the major reasons why I'm redoing it. The other is that I'm bored with the look and need a change.

ah, what a relief!

hosting your own avatars can be a &#@%. I ran mine from my development web server - which has obvious disadvantages. :P

Thanx for this Cameron

Cameron,

I think this is a very good idea (you hosting avatars)! And it's good that you limit the size of the pictures!
This will also help new forum users, no more "how do i make my avatar..." threads.
