Xbox live website - problems?

Can anyone check if they can register a new account on the xbox live website? I can't even get to the form.

On this page I select join xbox live (free account). I am then transported to a page that says I found a glitch in their system. Please, can someone else see if they get the same error?

i am getting the same error man. But i usally go to www.xbox-360.co.za it also forum but only for SA. hope this helps
