Hey everyone. Quick I need to order now, are these two the same and is it really just the black edition that makes the difference:

^^ black edition just means that the multiplier is unlocked. that is only an advantage if you want to OC. I was a win xp fan but I will never go back to it after using 7, so definitely go for win 7(home premium or professional will be fine, ultimate is just an expensive version of professional. and does not have any extra features)

oh and get the 64 bit version if you have not already done so.

Ultimate does have extra features but nothing the average user REALLY uses...

That is my point, ultimate is not worth the extra cash. I personally think it is pointless, just there because it can be.

Ya you're right... A busines might fully utilize the extra features but for the average home user professional is good.

Even the few extra features that do come with ultimate can de added to professional. besides XP mode runs on professional as well so there really is no reason to have ultimate
