I had an irritating problem of always having to fix it on my old Celeron with the 40GB Maxtor drive. Must have done it about 5 times on that PC at least, and then on 1 or 2 others. So I know the symptoms and cure by now ;)

WHen I repaired the MBR of the laptop I mentioned earlier in the thread it also took forever to boot into Windows the first time. But it's worked okay since then. Or so I'm told.

I am so glad someone else chastised her as well about all those icons! She does not want to listen to me about it... :(

because i like looking at a different picture when i do go to the desktop....
i don't spend a lot of time looking at the thing anyway... it's just a tool....
my professional work and my files are organized...
my flat may be a tad messy but i know where everything is and it was test and a very busy time this last few weeks so i will clean it up after monday's exam.....

as for the post count.... how do you think Tribble got so many posts....
