no pictures -sending Gmail

Post by jphegers »

Can someone please give me advice.I have a Gmail account and ever since last night, when sending e-mail's that have pictures in the body of the mail, the recipient of the mail only receives the written part of the mail and where the pictures should be there are just blank boxes or otherwise "Description: cid:image006.jpg@01CBD9A1.0AA468A0" that comes up.
I have not changed any settings on Gmail and if I first download my mail with Microsoft outlook and then forward the mail, the full email is received by the recipient.
How can I rectify this so that my Gmail works properly?

This is definitely related.
I did google this subject and apparently there are thousands of people all over the world having similar problems but I cannot anywhere find advice of how to fix it on the net.

Just give it a day or two and try again.
