SyncMaster P2250 flicker??
Ok, now my brother got a Samsung SyncMaster P2250 for Christmas and a few hours ago it started to flicker. Instead of trying to describe this here are some pics of what it does:
And
So what I want to know is how do you open the thing and I do not want to hear take it to the shop. We had a SyncMaster 500s which did something very similar but turned out that it was a lead that had not been trimmed off which caused the problem, so I suspect something similar but can't check as there are no screws anywhere

It's under warranty, take it to the shop you got it from, don't be an idiot and void the warranty.....

Re: SyncMaster P2250 flicker??
Is this a common problem with P series monitors? Apparently there are some people having the same problem but I have no real proof of this, does anybody know what exactly causes it??
Re: SyncMaster P2250 flicker??

Re: SyncMaster P2250 flicker??
I'm guessing here. Electrical interference can distort the output on screens,it normally happens if you run data cables with power cables. Then if that is the case you get a magnet that you clip on the data cable and it "pulls" the signal straight.
This problem more commonly happens in a big office where data cables run in the power skirting so its unlikely it'll happen at home. But I suppose its a possibility

Re: SyncMaster P2250 flicker??
That is not the problem I have tried the monitor in all the pc's here at home, and that second pic is with just the power cable plugged in. Oh well it will be back in maybe a week, at least my monitor is still fine(2033SW)

Well since you asked..... I am obligated to share a questionable opinion, about the lack of intelligence.....you are asking about, if by any remote you are showing traits of it....
