Im looking for a good FLV player, there are many free on the web, but thought i wold come and ask here first before dowloading 10 diiferent crap ones

VLC is great..

I also use Gom Player. what VLC can't Play GOM can and visa versa!

Shark codec pack. Best codec pack I've found, plays pretty much everything

I'm on the VLC bandwagon. That app could probably "play" a jpeg if you really wanted it to.

I'd recommend going with a good media player like VLC (or GOM) before installing all kinds of codec packs.
That guy that used to mod cases. Now I take photos. True story.

Media player mostly, but VLC a lot also.

Mediaplayer Classic is supposed to be able to rope in the GPU as well, if I am not mistaken?

my media player won't play it, something to do with codecs.

Ya iv heard media player classic plays better quality than vlc? Iv never actually had a look but media player classic plays lower volume than vlc,so I always use vlc

Yes, because the louder something plays media files, the better it is...

Media Player Classic comes in a 64-bit flavour and plays HD media better than VLC, and also makes better use of CPU and GPU resources IMO.
But VLC supports most media file-types natively, while MPC needs a bit of tweaking to get things right - multiple subtitles & audio tracks in MKV files for eg.
