Looks the same size as the GTX280, 8800GTX and almost any other nVidia card I have ever owned. It simply has a duel slot footprint.

At the rate these cards are growing in size, pretty soon your motherboard will slot into the graphics card

The top picture is a old PS2 with red lining. The bottom pic is a VHS video type. Case solved.
