GSkill Phoenix Pro 60GB Review

Post by Drakonis »

Hardware
Kingston was the first company to offer well-priced SSDs but thankfully they are not the only or the last to do so. The GSkill Phoenix Pro 60GB SSD costs R1 500, which in the world of SSDs is downright reasonable. For that tidy little sum of money you get a 64GB SSD and a 3.5” compatibility kit, allowing the drive to be installed in a normal desktop chassis that lacks a 2.5” bay

My opinion, not the mag's

Still too pricey for mainstream. I want at least 500GB for that price else I won't go the SSD route.

So to those of us SSD-noobs, how does this thing stack up (performance-wise) to the intel x-25m (end-user SSD form intel, I think?)
And yes, I did read the article in the link.
