Islamic games rating system announced

Post by Drakonis »

This isn't a bad idea... is it?
A new game rating system based on Islamic law was announced yesterday at the Dubai World Game Expo. The brainchild of the Index Conferences and Exhibitions Organisation and the Iran National Foundation of Computer Games, the new rating system is called the ESRA or Entertainment Software Rating Association

Next thing you know, we'll have Islam approved motherboards and processors running on Halaal electrons...

Absolutely pathetic...

No other religion enslaves as much and demands so much from almost every single industry...
I mean, what if the Scientologists jump on this bandwagon as well?
What will games be like then?

Is there really place for religion in games?
Should it dictate every aspect of every single industry?

The 3 desert dogmas...for how much longer will they enslave humanity?

And I also want them to remove the Halaal, Kosher, and who knows what the Hindus have, labels from my food. I don't want their "approval" on my food.

I know this is going off topic, but I hate having someone's religion/religious symbols stuffed down my throat. (Literally, considering I swallow the food :P)
