why thanks you kind sir...

the H70 is really working for me, as it is keeping the cpu at least 10C cooler than with the stock cooler, and even on a full load it doesnt go much higher than 50C.

and adding to that is also quite silent (that is, if i use the resistive connectors)

I should be getting ram pretty soon. Then at least I'll have my rig operational. On stock cooler and in a crap case,so overclocking will probably be minimal but at least I won't have a cpu bottleneck on my gpu. Jelly you know what I mean! I'll unleash my 6870 haha, and Andre! We gona be competing in benchmarks;)

Andre I already have my 6870! I managed to clock it to 1000 core 1250 mem.
And jelly I just read Anyone going sandybridge thread. There's a flaw in the 2600K so I'm kinda bummed. Don't know if I should return it or what

Ya totally standard. I raised my voltage from 1174 to 1200. I hit temperatures of 71 on 50% fan. But if you saw my case and the airflow you would laugh! My computer is about 6 years old! The gpu isn't 100% stable though, but this is a benchmarking setting. Its not necessary to OC coz the gpu gets enough fps in game anyway.

Slim open a 6870 overclocking section in overclocking forums and just post results for your oc and what settings and voltages you've used as it could benefit other 6870 owners... then when you have your rig running (Sata bug fixed and all) u can post bench results there aswell....

edit just remebered you have a thread open already.... hope all goes well with this sata problem dude....
