Hi Guys...
Its Probably Been Asked Before, But I Am Very Curious Whats The Voltage Limits For 24/7 Usage According To Intel...
The Reason I Ask Is Cuz I Got A 930 DO Which Idles @ 35 Degrees And Loads @ 60 Degrees At Stock With A CM V10 & A Rampage II extreme Mobo (Bios 8102)
Now This Is the Problem, Intel States The Safe Vcore @ 1.3v ; VTT @ 1.3v & DRAM @ 1.65v..I Can Get It To 4GHZ At These Voltages But Is It Safe For 24/7? I Dont Wanna Kill This Thing Cuz I Saved For Months To Get One. Cuz At Stock Speeds The Vcore Goes Up & Down (Anywhere Form 0.9v To 1.25v) Depending On The Load & Im Gonna Run It @ 1.25v All The Time (Regardless of The Load)
Thanx For All The Help

Intel® Core™ i7-930 Processor
1.375...
It should be fine at what you want to do. I say should because when overclocking nothing is guaranted, but 1.3v or under should be quite safe in my experience. I've been running my 920 at 4.0GHz 24x7 for quite a while now without issues. The only thing that is likely to suffer is your electric bill...

Re: Core i7 9xx Voltage Limits
I might be in a different position than most but I generally feel no shame in pushing 1.5v in to any processor be it Intel or AMD.
What I type has nothing to do with the people that employ me.
