GPU powered tanks next?
NVidia have secured a $25 million research grant from the Pentagon in order to create supercomputers that utilise the processing capabilities of GPUs (Graphics Processing Units). The grant actually came through the DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) arm of the Pentagon

They building super computers to train soldiers. Next time you shoot someone in MW2 it might just be a US marine of Army ranger.

A surprising amount of modern pseudoscience is coming out of the environmental sector. Perhaps it should not be so surprising given that environmentalism is political rather than scientific.
