DCMA changes

The United States Copyright Office, which reviews the DCMA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) every three years, has made several notable exemptions to the act this year. The exemptions include: bypassing the CSS (Content Scrambling System) in DVDs in certain circumstances; unlocking or jailbreaking cellular phones (including the iPhone), the breaking of DRM in video games under certain circumstances and the breaking of DRM in e-books in order to enable read-aloud or special text functionality

Just make DRM illegal and say "Either you have the digital key license like steam or the hard copy physical and original cd/dvd.".

I went out and got Splinter Cell: Conviction for +- R400. Installed it, created an account with Ubisoft, log in, put my CD Key in. Everything is working perfectly, the game launches, start a new game… and then it starts…. The CONSTANT pausing of the game because the internet is a bit slow, saying its trying to reconnect cause it wants its permanent connection to the DRM servers. This made the game completely unplayable, literally forcing me to err... skip the internet check part…. So sue me.
