AT&T has admitted that a security flaw introduced into the iPad by their website’s login procedure has exposed the e-mail addresses of over 100 000 iPad users on their network. The flaw, which was caused by AT&T’s site detecting a unique code on the Sim card and supplying the attached e-mail address, was apparently discovered by a group calling themselves Goatse Security.
