Windows 7 credential manager

hi ppl... so im using the credential manager in windows 7, but everytime i create a new password, it gets changed to some random 8 digit password that I dont know... whats going on here??? please can anyone help.

It does that for security reasons.

When you type a password it will always display it as 8 characters after entering it , but behind the scenes its still the same amount of characters
that you have entered.

So it fools the other people to think that your password is 8 characters.
