Windows Live backup is free, and more than enough space for the important stuff. And Ubuntu One is a good choice to support local mzansi's efforts

I recently stumbled onto Live (Skydrive). The 50mb file limit is a pity though.

Yeah I know 50mb limit is harsh but 25GB total could help for important docs etc.

Yes. And? That still doesn't deter from the fact that you can't upload single files any larger than 50mb onto Skydrive.Studio Touch Visagie wrote:Windows Live Skydrive - 25GB

No, I edited it to make more sense. I was referring to Skydrive originally and assumed you also were, as I'm not aware of any other large capacity FREE options from the Live franchise

I pop my game saves onto a flash drive if at all. I have nothing else that matters enough to save on my home PC.

Depending on what I need to have backed up. A lot of things remain in my mailboxes, games and downloaded programs, updates, drivers etc have a home on external drives.
