Why is it that when I run this app it gives these readings?

Just saying it is a 'GTX260' means bugger all, post the brand etc as well - since the clocks differ from a to b
On second thought.. I see it is in your sig - but that took some savvy of you to add it there.. so put in the post too will ya ??
Also, what did the box it came in promise, what clockspeed in your opinion is it supposed to be running at >

Its the graphics driver downclocking the card for 2d use.....

n00bs

see the little tab on the right that says default. open that and you should see 2d and 3d readings as well.

I did check that as well but it stays the same. Might it be that it down clocks while in idle. ie. in windows?

*shakes head*

Dude, listen here. when not playing a game your card reverts to 2d mode.... ONLY WHEN GAMING or putting stress on the GPU ie benchmarking or folding at home. will the clocks change.

also rather use gpu-z to read your gfx clocks :)

It was a program error, I uninstalled it and reinstalled and it showed the results just fine. Before I reinstalled it showed those settings even in games.
