Blueray region locked or not?
Simple question. Is blueray region locked or not? And secondly how does this translate for ps3? Can any ps3 play any regions ps3 games?
Re: Blueray region locked or not?
Some are region locked and some aren't. All PS3 games are region free though. Thank goodness, or I'd never get to play Demon's Souls.

Have a look on this website: http://bluray.liesinc.net/. According to that site your Blu Ray is region free.
Edit: but then when you follow the LINK it says that it is region A (not for South Africa). I don't know how that works.

I can wait for the UK one to come out but they are still waiting for 1.01 or which ever one the first one was called.
Regarding the article in PCF about full hd 24p/60p how does this work? Are all of the movies for region 2 made to run similar to that of region 1 or does it follow the same frame rate rule as that of PAL standards? And what will the PS3 do with that?
