Windows 7 missing HD space...

Post by Tiza »

I just installed windows 7 on my new pc. It has a 500 hdd but when I followed the install wizard I thought I should create partions or whatever so I made a new thing and made it 200 GB during installation. The space Is now missing and I have been messing around trying to find it for an hour with no luck...

Does anyone know where I can find it or should I just re-format and install it again?

My new keyboard is also wack, the " and the @ buttons are mixed around so when I press shift 2 I get a " how can i fix this ???

Thanks

If you made a 200GB partition, then the remaining 300GB wont have been formatted and will not be visible to the OS.

Go into Disk Management and you will see the unpartitioned space in black. Format it and then you will be able to see it in Windows.

Google can be your friend if you need help doing this.

Regarding the keyboard problem, change your keyboard to the US layout

And while you are at it, set your language to English UK. Bill gates and his american English must die in a fire. ;)
