Blocking DotA Server

Post by Monty »

Hey guys,

I've been tasked with blocking DotA on my home network but I've been unable to find the addresses to add to the block list. Does anyone know of the right addresses to block?

Jeesh man, it could be anywhere. You'd have to find out who is hosting it.

Bandwidth is a prescious commodity in my house... And DotA, facebook and Video chat take up a lot of it!

I tried the war3 forums, they scared me!

War3 uses ports 6112 - 6119 if I remember correctly.

Erm guys... last post was in December 2009. I'm sure this is a non-issue now.

(And surprise surprise, this thread was resurrected by our resident necrophiliac.)
