I saw an advert yesterday for Incredible Corruption stores that were running launch specials if you bought yours between 7 and 8 am today, they were specially opening for this. I don't quite understand the hype, it's not like the release of a huge game like D3, my current XP is just fine, lol.

Will get it at a later stage.

Yeah, and it was like R3.2k for Ultimate. I asked at Matrix yesterday about their retail pricing and the guy told me that retail will be about three times the price of DSP. I just ...

:)

I'm waiting for Lloyd's MSN icon to change from orange to green. No pricing up on DSAO yet. :?

HAPPY WINDOWS 7 DAY EVERYONE!!!

Except c0d3r. For you, it's happy birthday.

Question is: What are the major differences between the RC and the final release?

Come on guys, what the hell :?:

This sort of fanboi-ism is what those fellatios Linux brigands are famous for.
Windows users are well-adjusted regular bathers and we don't get this worked up about opening day of a new OS release.
You lot are just embarrassing me.

My current RC copy says it expires 2nd of March 2010, so yeah Jan/Feb would be a good time to get the full product...

Darkstar: Bug fixes and code optimisation really, no visual differences from the RTM or even RC.

Your post is counter productive as your mere presence in this thread attest to how fast you clicked the thread heading when you eventually saw it. I am confident that the mouse skid-marks on your table/mousepad (do people still even use those?) from the fast wrist action will not be too hard to remove.

Interfan: Wasn't your copy much more from Prophecy? I didn't order from them because Ultimate Retail is R230 more than at Take 2!

This from someone who lamented in another thread that Take2.co.za was blocked at his place of employ, thus preventing him from looking at the pr-order specials for Windows 7....

Never mind my mouse pad...
I'm sure the skid-marks in your boxers/briefs from your involuntary bowel movement when you saw this thread will prove very difficult to remove :P

Sojourn... wtf you talking bout Willis?

I am always slow to pick up a new OS.

Used 98 till 2001, then used Win2000 till 2003

Now I use XP.

Yeah I heard all that too and then I installed the RC only to find its just as crap as vista. It looks and handles the same although it might actually be better on the system level. But reguardless it doesnt look like XP. Only reason for getting it is 64-bit and DX11.
