I noticed something interesting this evening. I was haxing my ladyfriend's facebook account (not really. She needed me to get something from her inbox) and while I was at her inbox page, I noticed how different it was to mine. Check this out. Side by side:

Man, this is weird. I know that FB roll out updates slowly and to certain places first, but this doesn't make any sense. Wik stays about 5KM from me, and he's got the newer layout

But, I've also noticed that the small profile pictures went from blocks with round edges, to standard blocks.

Yeah, that happened about a week ago. Facebook posted about that on there blog IIRC. They dropped all the rounded corners that were all over the place, and also extended the top blue bar from being centered to being from edge to edge.

Yeah, it does hey? I much preferred the centered bar. In fact, I hate how facebook is entirely centered like that. I want it to conform to my browser's size. There's no point in having 1920 available pixels but facebook only uses about 950. I actually used to zoom facebook pages by about two clicks, but that starts to make images look bad.

It's okay though, due to that layout, and the layout of many of the other sites I frequent, I now have my browser only spanning between 60% and 70% of my screen, so I don't see SO much white
