Critical Cyber co? Hosting in the USA?

Posting this in security - although i think we need to create a section for "scary".

Do you own a "critical cyber company"? Cyber including anything dealing with telecommunications, computers.... AAHh do you tweet? Well, beware....

Again, i wonder how it will influence non USAsians? What if you are hosting your site in the USA, and the paranoid Americans decide that the network you are on is a "threat"?

My wondering goes round and round the legal and financial repercussions if an outsider is hosting in the USA...

I'm thinking all they will do is shut down everything inside their "borders" if whatever they don't like is hosted there, ban ip's etc.
Not much they can do further... unless it's something bad on the scale of 9/11 or a child-porn ring - then it will probably circle out to outside.

Just about every co (yes even gov's) out there are "hooked" to the internet.
It's called a firewall and a proxy.
