Heroes of Newerth

Post by DarkStar »

Right, since I couldn't find anything on this in the forums, her goes.

HoN (Or, Heroes of Newerth) is DotA. Period.

However, they have taken DotA, and revamped pretty much everything. From the graphics to the interface.

Look up on Google, as technically I'm not allowed to post pictures of the game (as of yet), but the GFX are goooood

I've only played one game and so far, it was more enjoyable than DotA.
For those of you who want in, it's a closed beta with invites only, but I get the feeling that soon it will become open to the general public.

And sorry, I don't have any invites available. :(

I could never get it to work. It installed but the refused to run without patching and would not install the patch.

i guess it's just differs from person to person, the game play/style of play is exactly the same, three lanes with your creeps trying to push the enemies world tree etc. for me personally i prefer HoN, better graphics - i do not like LoL cartoon graphics, it seems that the updates are smaller, faster gameplay and the local games = better ping
