Ive got a very stupid and frustrating question.
Ive got a new 800x600 white picture open in the Gimp.
Then i have a piece of text (Layer1) and a small background Layer 2
The text is on the white and the small background is in the middle.
Here goes, how do i move the stupid text over the small background?
Cus when ever i click on it it pops up with dialogs to edit the text and its got
stipple lines around it, how do i take that away ?
Thats all i want to do, I think i should rather close gimp and use paint cus if i carry on
with this i might just put a dent in my monitors screen.

Re: Gimp help
what version of gimp?
if you have the 'move' tool selected, it'll move it...
or you'll want to rasterize the text...
