He was worried there would be some cats that would mistake him for a real mouse - you know those schools are teaming with them.

The threads gonna get locked if you keep on spamming :whistling:

Next time I think we need have the LAN somewhere where the food and coffee will be on 24/7 supply - the fact they closed the canteen nearly killed me. I actually twitched.

Another recommendation would be to try arrange that there are curtains over the window or something.

Other than that it was great and the PCF staff were friendly which was cool.

The next LAN will be in Durban? *hopefull*
"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

You do look like the only light you get is from the glare of your monitor....
All that time spent underground in the mines - you would think a little sunlight would be welcome... but nooooo.

And I thought RRF was our resident Vampire...

I guess maybe he's the hardcore Underworld type, and you're the mincey, prancing little fairy type from Twilight.

I get out a lot actually ;)

As for being a mincey fairy, keep dreaming fapper.

Hi Guys

Firstly I would like to say that I was amazed by the attitude of the guys at the LAN. Our community is truly made up of gentleman who are good sports. I have been to many LANs, run a few and helped out admins whenever I could but the PCF LAN was an amazing display of the quality of the community.

Unfortunately I was very busy on Friday night, too busy in fact to play any games. We (the PCF team) were looking forward to testing our skill against you guys but alas it was not to be. I hope those teams that attended will be at the next event, we really want to see if we are any good.

Thank you for your support guys - it means a lot to all of us here at PCF Ranch.

Update: Hey all, just to let you know we met with Jaco & Johan (sp?) and have consulted with another two electricians regarding the shenanigans on Sat. I will be mailing a full report but here's the low-down. Throttle Senior's monitor went pop and doubled the voltage down one of the phases. Despite the trip it managed to blow the neighbouring PSU (Throttle's) to the extent that it fried when power was restored. Now we are not sure exactly why the monitor blew in the first place but there where traces of moisture on the table, in the monitor etc

Moving on swiftly, if we had all plugged in after the smoking guns where removed we would have been fine. There will be pics and a full report mailed to everyone who attended and posted on the site. The power issue then, was not due to the school but came down to an equipment failure.

I am pushing for July. Whether I am allowed is another story :? I am in poo atm for things going wrong and for the LAN ending up as a purely negative financial exercise :( What's really ticking me off is that I didn't even organize this LAN and the boyz and I were just meant to play. Such is life though and when we do another I will be sure to arrange things from the start. Thanks for the awesome support!
