PSU Sleeving advice.

Hi,

Quick question: how does one remove the 4 pin Mobo plugs and 6 pin PCI-E plug connectors. :?

im guessing you would do the same as you would with the 20-24 pin mobo conector
just need a really small flat screw driver

Prime, with a lot of patience.

I sat with a tiny flat screwdriver and a pin :) After a couple you get pretty good at it... Worth the effort though.

PS: you can actually buy a nifty tool that does it for you, one *click* and you're done. Just don't ask me where you can buy it :?:

i think they have them at ppcs but should be around somewhere locally

In some of those cheap vantec molex connector kits you can get them. The kit I bought about 3 years ago cost about R30.

Thanks Guys.

I tried a pin, but it only works on the older connectors and these are already black so i cannot see inside them. :(

Will seek out said tool

i don't think any of those are going to work hey. they molex pin removers and prime is wanting the 6pin pcie and 4 pin cpu connector pins removed they slightly different (correct me if i am wrong)

this one is for molex connectors (the one that goes into the cd rom / hard drive (non sata)
