Morning All,
So our anti-virus system has detected multiple infections in our shadow copies on 2 of our servers. Now I dont want to delete the shadow copy itself but rather get into to it and delete the virus. Trend keeps on telling me that it has detected but cannot clean and it cannot quarantine the file.
Any idea's?

i sincerely doubt that it is possible to evict a single file from the shadow copy.. this runs counter to the design and stability of the system... it's one of those all-or-nothing deals... 
at least, i've never seen it done... maybe one our resident M$ fanbois knows of some 3rd-party solution?..

AFAIK you will have to delete the entire shadow copy...

Thats what I thought .
Not really an option I wanted to do but I could come in tomorrow and "kill" the peoples backups.
