Windows 7 versions revealed

Post by Interfan »

Good to see they made things simpler.
With Windows 7 there will be two primary editions: Windows 7 Home Premium, and Windows 7 Professional. We think those two SKUs will meet most customers’ needs.

Enterprise and starter will only be available as oem versions. While Basic will only be offered in emerging markets.

So retail you basicly have 3 versions home premium, profesional and ultimate.

However, replace "Professional" with "Business" and you essentially have the same versions that Vista did.
