local link for MS Visual Basic 2008 Express?

Heya guys.

I'm capped at the moment, and I want to utilise my local bandwidth as much as possible before the month ends.

I know that Microsoft has a whole bunch of dev software for free (Express versions), as as far as I remember.


What I'm looking for is a local link for their latest VB.NET kit.

For some reason, I can download the Win7 Beta ISO (from the official website) so long as I have the direct link, but I can't access their website, so that's a problem for me.

If anyone could pull a link for me, it would be awesome. Maybe even the C# one.


However, if I'm wrong about the whole 'free' thing, then disregard this post completely, please.

Uh... There's a problem with that site, as in I can't use the search function.

Everytime I do, my international cap kicks in and says "403 Forbidden"

FOund them, too, but they're the downloaders... And hence don't work since they're trying to connect to MS.

I'll just have to bite the bullet with my cap next month, then.
