Market related salaries - updated lists?

Hiya all,

Im due for a salary increase next month. Pretty stoked about that. Our company has a policy on paying market related salaries on your experience and qualifications etc. Im struggling to find a up to date list of market related salaries for SA. Searched here, but it was all from 2007 or earlier. Dont wanna Google right now cos at work...but if anyone knows of some sites with up to date market related salaries...I would be eternally grateful. Thanks.

we can use this for all of us cus that is what i'm looking for atm aswell.

I'm an I.T manager atm, and earn +- 13K with petrol and cellphone paid by the company.
I saw a couple of vacancies for my type of work for 25K to 35K.

But on the other hand i'm a bit scared to move to greener grass.

atleast your company tries to pay you a market related salary.

We a being increased based on inflation (Which means you not getting any increase) you stay where you are.

Atleast i know its not just me earning 10K as an IT team leader as you said

and was working way more than 40 hours per week.

@ SBSP - Dont know much about how much an IT manager gets paid...but you sounded way underpaid IMO.

EDIT: Fark...Im underpaid by 30%! Well, was told by my boss Im getting a big increase...but I seriously doubt its near 30%....damn....

Well, didnt have my exact job description...so chose closest one. So I dunno...I do more than just Web Dev...maintain our SQL databases and do some support for software programs we use. So its more of a specialist position I have...

Wish there was a place that you could call up, say I do x, y & z...have x years experience, have x qualifications...and hey presto...you get your market related salary...
