Help And Support Not Working!!

Hello

I am running windows xp professional (SP3)..When i try opening help and support..
it gives me an error saying that the process is not running...I went and tried running the process and it says not found...
please help

As Ron recommended in another post, get hold of NOD32. There's a trial available so you dont have to fork out if you dont like it

Hold On!
if i'm not mistaking a MS service pack or patch causes this.

Right click My computer Select Manage from the context menu.
The MMC console will open navigate to Services and Applications then
Find services and in services you should fin "Help & Support"
If its not there use google to find how to get it back.

I think this also relates to the problem when you habe a MS error in the eventviewr when you click the message its supposed to contact the MS server but you get an error.

Aha! Now i remember it relates to SP2 for Windows Server 2003

Is the service there or not can you not start it manually. ?

Thanks the service is there but when i select start it gives an error...somebody said its a virus...i serched on google and the results was it might have got deleted from the registery...so i downloaded that helpandsupport.reg file and added it but still not working...man i so fed up!!
