Still does not help in getting it

. Plus I have made all *.mp3's (including game music) to read-only therefore this problem will not effect me

I see now. I didn't realize you need a key and I see as well activation for that key. So download it from a torrent site and just don't activate or crack. Then when the technet links are back up, you could probably just register for the download to get the key, then just cancel the download. If that's how it works.

I thought one needed a key if I dont well hey in 13h I will have a 64-bit beta of Windows 7. Will have to buy more cap by lunch time but its cheap so I dont mind

Yeah, Mine I downloading during nightrider which is 7 hours per day only and on 384k line I should only have it about Friday....
I'm gonna skip it until I get more feedback and then next month that can be my download if I (you guys) think it's worth it.

No it doesn't but you can get a cd key from the microsoft beta site and then download from guru 3d. Just got a 64 bit cd key. Download is 86% down.

Ok guys. Got the files and everything but a question. When creating an iso do I just burnt he files to dvd like any other dvd or is there a specific program/method I need to follow??

I have Nero 8 so I just double click the iso and it opens and burns automatically. If it doesn't I think you do need to select that you are burning an iso somewhere in nero... or use Alchohol.

Ok got it installed. Only thing that I am not happy so far is. Why my primary hard disk gets a rating of 3 in win 7 while vista rates it at 5.7??

@Darkstar: Pm me and I will send a copy for you. You will need your own cd key and will need to pay for a dvd since I am all out. Used the last one to make the win 7 iso.

The scale is increaded to 7.9. But the only component to decrease its rating is my h/d, gfx went up to 7.9 and gaming gfx to 6.4 compared to vista.
