Well the downloads up at msdn but the serverload must be massive as it takes about 15 minutes to load the page. there will be only 2.5m keys issued. So we might never get a get but the rearm command will work to help you run it for 90 days. Im keen on testing but sounds like way too much effort. Cant even get a download started.

Ladies & gents, start your (2.5 million) downloads. The official Windows 7 Beta is ready for download at Microsoft's TechNet site.

It looks like downloading the 32- or 64-bit versions requires a Windows Live ID account, but you can sign up during the click-through process, of course. As you might expect, the servers are a bit bombed, and it looks like the official page we were all watching hasn't updated with a link yet.

lol, M$ servers took much strain so they have removed the beta so that they can up their infrastructure. The link now says "coming soon"

lol... Got the 64 bit version

Busy installing it with VMWare... Was planning on a main install... Although I couldnt clear up my HDD to partition and dual boot with vista (to be safe, although it seems amazing... Its MS and still a BETA product).

Hey!! Look, it has pretty pictures in the background while installing. Dont recall Vista's being very nice...

Gave the VM 2GB of RAM and 20 GB of HDD space, lets see how it goes
If any of you want to get it from me, you are welcome to PM me and you can come over and get it with a portable HDD or something. I dont want to post it as I dont know when id be able to get to a post office.etc

Yea ok. Just dont use media center or media player 12 on it . It will destroy the fir 3 seconds of all your mp3's.
