HELP!! Windows error on driver install

Post by Acir0th »

Hi

I'm really hoping that someone can help me on this topic. I recently formatted a computer that had extreme virus issues. After formatting and reinstalling Windows XP on it, I had problems installing the Display driver. It is a PC Chips Motherboard - P21G V1.0 with an Intel Celeron 2.8Ghz. I first tried installing the default VIA display drivers and when that didn't work I installed a Nvidia Geforce FX5500 with the original and then the latest drivers. I keep getting an error stating "This device could not be started" and something about "Code 10 Error". I don't know whether it could be a another faulty Windows installation or perhaps a motherboard failure. I reinstalled Windows to try and fix the problem, but to no avail.

PLEASE SOMEONE.... HELP!!!!
