The magazine was good this month but I had a problem with my disc. My only other complaint is the spelling errors but there are less than the September issue I bought previously. I liked the drm article. Very informative but I never knew anyone with Command & conquer 3: Tiberium wars issues regarding the drm. I would give the magazine 8,5 out of 10.

I agree with the DRM article. Well written, very informative without being overly techinical.

The magazine is win, so far I only have one complaint. The "make your own SSD" article isn't informative enough. SSDs aren't mainstream yet so quite a few people don't know what the point of having a SSD is in the first place. You could have spelled it all out in a sentence.

Maybe it's corny but I've been buying the mag since Mars was editor and he used to have a subsection within the gaming section which contained hits and tips for certain games and people could write in with their queries. I know most answers can be found with a google but it may give Brett some more work ;)

Jonboy, you want me to do more work? I can't say that something like that would make it back in the mag but if folks want to send stuff through, my email address is rather obvious. I've got no problem with being a gaming assistant if needed.

Is this issue a December/January one with a special edition made for january(like each year )? or is it going to be December and then january issue?

My fault. That little mistake slipped through the cracks. We have run the same competitions in the Jan issue.

There is a December issue and a January issue.
What I type has nothing to do with the people that employ me.

Just a note on the "Free Disc" sticker. We've had to place that there since the disc is now placed inside the mag and not out where it can be seen. If there is extra content bundled with the mag, you WILL know about it since we'll advertise it mercilessly on the cover.

We dont mind the sticker just the wording... Free disc is misleading... "Round thingy included" is more true :)

Browsing through the mag again tonight reminded me to make this post.

Kudos on the memes of the month feature.

Although you guys almost broke rule #1 in this months addition.
