Well...firstly...if you are going to use the cardboard box (which is the first of its kind I've seen , by the way) treat it with some kind of flame inhibitor. This is why they don't make cases out of cardboard.

Option 2 entails getting some extensive household insurance.

small ish update
last night i found some leds and stuck them on the bottom of my case

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

i will try get some more blue leds for the bottom, but they will all be in the front shining to the back because it looks cool when the light fades away at the back of the case.

i have taken off the mesh from the panels

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

and while i was taking off the chrome strips on the side the plastic mesh cut me

Image

chrome strips and panels

Image

now here i want to cut out the plastic mesh (i saw the blue mod and wanted to do it too, mainly for airflow)

Image

Image

so there you go
anyone thinks that i shouldn't take out the mesh please say so

The mesh goes in front of the ugly stuff? then it should look fine. if you aren't sure, do one row and test it

It used to be one of these:

In fact, it still is...just dressed like a modder would dress it.
