Agents for Legend Memory

Post by brabham »

As the topic says, does anyone know who the agents are in SA for legend memory products? I have a stick of 256mb pc133 memory thats gone belly up and I'm pretty sure its covered by a lifetime warranty. Only thing is I dont know where it was bought and I dont have a receipt.

Why on earth would you want to replace that though?

I have no idea TBH, but seriously. PC 133? My phone RAM is faster....

Lifetime warranty often refers to the lifetime of the product (ie until they stop producing it). It's not your lifetime. You may get lucky and find they still do make it but I seriously doubt it. Your best bet is to email the manufacturer and see if you get a response.

It might end up being cheaper to get a new system than to get 1 stick of SD ram. Else try making a topic in the for sale forums.

Lenovo is somehow related to Legend. Just a heads up if you're having a problem tracking the company or distributors.

But I'm inclined to agree with StarBound, PC133 means time to upgrade! You'll probably find out that the smallest PC133 module left in production is 512MB for R800 or something ludicrous like that. I wouldn't be surprised, but by all means check it out.

I should just mention that its not my PC i.e check my sig for my specs. However, it is a PC I'm helping someone else out with. The machine is running atm with a 128mb stick in it but (as I'm sure you will agree) it would be better if I could get the faulty 256mb swapped and run the machine on 384mb instead.

Thanks for all the replies so far.

I'll check out that lenovo link Hex, thanks for that.
